I want to talk to you about an old friend named Angela. We were very good friends when we were in high school, maybe from when we were about 13 until we were 18. We lived in the same neighborhood and we would always play together after school. We liked playing in the park in the fall and sometimes just talking about our day. Angela was a very kind and funny person. She always had a smile on her face and she could make me laugh. She was also very creative. I remember she loved to draw and paint, and she wrote a novel. She was really good at it. She was always coming up with new ideas for games we could play. I would say she was quiet, outgoing, and friendly with everyone. After high school, we went to different universities and we slowly lost our contact. We lived in different parts of town and made new friends for many years. I didn't know what had happened to her. Then about six months ago, I was using social media and I saw her name on a friend's profile. I recognized her immediately from her pictures. I was a little bit nervous, but I decided to send her a message. She replied right away, and it was the same as it was in high school. She remembered me very quickly and was so happy to hear from me. We started chatting online, and it felt like no time had passed. We talked about our memories from high school and what we had been doing since then. We found out that we actually lived quite close to each other now, just in different parts of the city. I felt really happy when I got back in touch with Angela.
