So talking about a friend that I had lost touch with and got in contact with again is my friend Patrick, who has been one of my best friends since junior high school. When we both graduated from our school, we went to different schools to continue our senior high education. At that time, we almost never had any communication with one another because we were both trying to adapt to our new environments. It was quite challenging because we didn't have enough friends to chat with. It became a desperate moment, I think, at the beginning. However, we had the opportunity to reconnect at a basketball match called DBL in this city. It is a really big competition among schools in my city. I was watching the competition, and my school was competing against his school. After the match was over, I met him at the parking lot. We had a small talk with each other, and I was really happy because I could spend time with someone who had been my best friend before. After that, we tried to make plans to hang out together.
