Here I am going to describe something which I learnt online. One day while I was scrolling on Instagram, I saw a small business selling crocheted stuffed animals. I was quite impressed and I thought of learning crocheting but then I forgot about it. A week later, I was watching a YouTube video and came across a video which was very appealing. The title said, How can you crochet anything as a beginner? The thumbnail of the video was quite attractive so I decided to watch it. Since I already had in my mind that I wanted to learn crocheting, I thought that it was the perfect time. There was a girl sitting in a room describing everything. In the first 5 minutes of the video, she taught the audience how, as a beginner, one can look for sample patterns which are very simpler and decide according to the preferences. She taught about various sites and even apps like Pinterest and simple sites like Google where one can browse simple patterns. Then she started by showing the basics of crochet. How, even the people who have no knowledge or experience about thread can start it. In addition to this, she also taught some tips and tricks which were quite helpful. So in order to learn properly, I decided to make along with her. Since I already had yarn at home, it was easy for me to start. And to my surprise, it was easier than I thought and by the end of the video, I had made the same pattern as she did. Although it was not as neat as hers because I was obviously starting for the first time and she was extremely professional with it. I was very delighted and I was over the moon as I was able to grasp a new skill in such a short period of time. I felt proud of myself and I even showed my work to my mother and she praised it a lot.
