I would like to talk about an outdoor activity I would like to try in the future. The activity is playing cricket in the cricket field. I would like to do it in the cricket field, as I mentioned earlier. It is one of the best cricket fields, a cricket stadium in Obal, England. Specifically, the stadium is called Obal Cricket Ground. As I mentioned earlier, I would play cricket, so I would need a bat, ball, stumps, two umpires, and two teams. The pitch should be well-prepared, and two umpires should officiate the match. A scorer sits outside of the stadium and manages the scoreboard. Actually, when I was in class 10, I played cricket every day, watching the Bangladeshi players play in the field. That's why I love to play.

Try using synonyms for the above words

Pronunciation

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

Task Response

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, but the development of the ideas is limited. While the activity, location, and equipment are mentioned, the explanation for why the activity is interesting is quite brief and lacks depth. To improve, try to expand on the 'why' aspect by describing the feelings, the excitement of the game, or the specific challenges involved. Additionally, avoid repetitive phrasing, such as repeating 'as I mentioned earlier' or 'cricket field,' and instead use synonyms or more descriptive language to enhance the flow. Providing more specific details about your past experiences or your future goals regarding this activity would help in providing a more complete and engaging answer.

Fluency & Coherence

The speaker demonstrates a basic ability to address the prompt, but there is significant repetition of phrases (e.g., 'as I mentioned earlier', 'in the cricket field'). This repetition hinders the flow and prevents a higher score. To improve, use a wider variety of cohesive devices and avoid repeating the same sentence structures. Instead of repeating the location, try using pronouns or synonyms (e.g., 'This venue is located in...').

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. There are several errors in word choice and pronunciation-based spelling in the transcript (e.g., 'bath' instead of 'bat', 'amperes' instead of 'umpires', 'plowed' instead of 'played'). While the topic-specific vocabulary for cricket is present, it is not used with precision. Aim to use more descriptive adjectives and varied synonyms to demonstrate a higher level of lexical flexibility. Pay attention to vocabulary repetition to improve the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The grammatical structures are mostly simple and contain frequent errors. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'he managed'), article usage, and sentence construction (e.g., 'The pitch should be oil prepared'). The speaker struggles to use complex sentences effectively. To improve, practice using a range of tenses (past, present, and future) accurately and work on connecting clauses using subordinating conjunctions like 'because', 'although', or 'which'.
