One of my good friends that I had since childhood was my best friend Lashan. We met during school and we both started school at almost around the same time. And this was I think back in 2006 maybe. And throughout the years we used to fall into different classes as our school followed this kind of grading system that students are put into separate classes based on the grades they get. We used to do a lot of things together in school from playing certain games, playing sports and we shared interests in sports, mainly football. So we had a common interest in this subject. However, as time went on Lashan diverged into the field of engineering and he actually he was a very bright student back in school and he got flying colours and he actually got a scholarship to Australia where he went to pursue his further studies. However, if I had to pick one thing that I particularly like about this person is that he was very humble. He had a great mind and he had almost perfect notes. But he would always share these notes with me and help me in my studies as I wasn’t a bright student back in school and I needed help. And he helped me get through these exams, get through semester by semester sharing certain notes, sharing certain tips that I needed. And he also spoke to me as a friend. I could share with him a lot of experience that I went through at home and at school and he would help me and he would relate to me with these experiences. And how he also faced certain some of the same experiences when he was in school and how he got over them and that really helped me to become a better person. So I have a particular interest in him as he got me through my schooling ages and I am forever grateful for what he has done. However, it’s been a long time since we met each other.
