Also I have met many people who are injured reading. Today I want to talk about someone who is truly a bibliophile. My uncle Ben is the perfect example. He is in his late 50s and spent 18 years serving in the Indian army. He is a kind and hardworking man. Even since I was a child I have seen him reading various books, novels, newspapers and magazines. While he enjoys reading anything he can get his hands on. I have noticed a particular fortness for fiction novels. He can do 500 page novels in just two or three days. He even has a dedicated study room where he spends most of his evenings immersed in reading. Once I asked him why he loves reading so much. And he simply replied that it’s a stress reliever for him. He feels relaxed and refreshed after reading and jotting down notes. He is always eager to learn new vocabulary words and diligently writes them in his diary. I have always been amazed by his language skills which are truly exceptional. His vocabulary and fluency are far superior to mine. On his birthday I often give him books because I know how much he cherishes them. In short my father is a passionate reader. My uncle is a passionate reader and his love for books is truly inspiring.
