One thing that surprised me and made me really happy was when my best friend organized a surprise birthday party for me last year. My birthday is in October and I saw me and I saw who was just going to have a small dinner like usual. But when I arrived at the restaurant, I was so happy to see about 10 of my closest friends waiting. They are with balloons, cakes and congratulations. I honestly had no idea they were planning anything. My best friend secretly invited everyone and even asked my mom to help keep it a secret. She told me we were going out for a normal meal so I didn’t expect anything special. When they said happy birthday, I was speechless for a few seconds and then I just smiled and laughed so much. I feel really touched and thankful that they took time to prepare something just for me. It was one of the happiest moments I ever had and it reminded me how lucky I am to have a heart-carrying human.
