I practice in front of my mirror to talk about and actually memorized every single detail in my presentation. It was about 30 page, so. But when I present my presentation, it was very nice because I did it great. And my teacher was fully satisfied with me. He gave me the m full mark, and I was the first and only person that given forr that time. It was very bo to my confidence. And there were. I think there were 15 or 16 people, but I was the only one who g them highest mark. So I really proud myself. Um, and from that time, I don’t have any social anxiety then I can’t talk to people with very confident. It was very helpful to me.

I can definitely share a time when I felt a surge of confidence in my studies. It was about two years ago, during my freshman year at Lincoln State University. It was the end of our first semester, around January 2022. The final assessment was a bit daunting for me, being a first-year student, but I was determined to do well. Instead of a traditional exam, our professor opted for a project-based assessment. While the research aspect wasn't too challenging for me, I've always been a good researcher, the presentation component was a real hurdle. I have a history of social anxiety and struggle with public speaking. I'm quite shy, so the thought of presenting in front of my classmates filled me with dread. I decided to tackle this head-on. I practiced every day, speaking in front of my mirror, memorizing every detail of my presentation. It was a 30-page presentation, so it was quite a task! When the day of the presentation arrived, I was surprised by how well I did. I felt confident and delivered a strong presentation. My professor was incredibly impressed and awarded me the highest mark in the class. I was the only student to receive full marks! It was a huge boost to my confidence. There were about 15 or 16 students in the class, and I was the only one to achieve that score. I was incredibly proud of myself. From that moment on, my social anxiety seemed to lessen. I found myself able to speak to people with more confidence. It was a truly transformative experience for me.
