Change is an inevitable part of life. Holding onto something would do us no good. At some point in our lives, we would have to replace that stuff with new things. One cannot keep holding onto stuff for eternity. Eventually, they would have to let it go and move on to the next thing. Turning over new stones can be quite nerve-wracking, but it holds importance in our lives because we get to learn new lessons and have new experiences as we move on to new chapters in our lives. Today, I would love to talk about something that I would prefer replacing in the near future. The device that I'm considering replacing is my mobile phone, initially gifted to me by my father almost 6 years ago. It holds a lot of sentimental importance to me. But practically thinking, there is almost no use for it now. Being almost six years old, it is not up to date with the technological advancements that are taking place in today's world. Our lives are filled with a myriad of activities and daily schedules. Mobile phones help us in our daily activities, but looking at my mobile phone, I don't think it comes in handy for any of the activities. Apart from the sentimental value it holds for me, I don't find it useful for anything else. Looking at the condition of my mobile phone, it has a lot of scratches and cracks on the screen, which restrict me from my daily activities such as chatting with my friends, reading emails, or accessing information related to any project or assignment. It is limited to certain functions due to the numerous network and hanging issues that are plaguing my mobile phone. Sometimes the screen freezes when I'm on an important website, causing all the work I have done, including typing and assignments, to be lost. This is why I am considering replacing it.
