I'm about to describe the neighborhood I lived in when I was a child. Đà Lạt is the capital city of Lâm Đồng province in Vietnam. When we arrived in Đà Lạt, we were surrounded by green fields, high forests, and a cool breeze. Everywhere you look, there are layers of mountains covered in mist, which made the views difficult to capture and dreamy. In the early morning, as the fog moved through the trees and sunlight touched the flowers, the view looked just like a painting. One of the best places is Lâm Đồng mountain, where you can see clouds floating below and the city resting quietly in the valley. Another beautiful spot is Đương Lâm lake, surrounded by pine trees, even though it's close to the city. The fields came and fell away from everything. What made my childhood there so special was the midst of nature, the silence, and the cool weather. Because the city is higher in the mountains, the air is fresh and the light is soft.
