Today, I want to tell you about a risk I took on a trip this summer. I rode the fast bay roller coaster for the first time. I was extremely scared, but I had been working on overcoming my fear for the past three months. At the end of the school year, my parents decided to take a trip to release some stress after a year of hard studying. After some discussion, we decided to go to Ha Long Bay. This was my second time visiting. The first time, I couldn't overcome my fear and didn't ride the roller coaster. At first, I refused to ride it. But thanks to my friend's encouragement, I finally decided to give it a try. However, while waiting for my turn, I was extremely scared and anxious. I worried that I would fly out of my seat. When it was finally my turn, I wished nothing bad would happen. The coaster sped up so fast I couldn't prepare for it. It was brought to the highest point with a flat bend and then suddenly went down at the same pace. It also turned around continuously at high speed, which made me feel really dizzy. I sometimes had to close my eyes because of the spinning. After five minutes, it finally slowed down and stopped. When I stepped off, I felt disoriented and had to sit on the floor for a few minutes to recover. After overcoming the headache and dizziness, surprisingly, I felt very excited and proud that I finally took a risk I was scared to take before. Overall, after riding the roller coaster for the first time, I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought. Honestly, I still think it's a very dangerous ride, but I feel very happy that I overcame my fear.
