Band 4+: Describe the type of music (mainstream/pop/opera/classical/jazz/blues/ballad/rock 'n' roll) that you like.

Your pronunciation is average. It is understandable but not always accurate. Focusing on the rhythm and stress patterns of English could prove beneficial.

The answer partially addresses the topic by mentioning a preference for pop music and how it has changed over time, but it lacks a clear, direct description of the type of music liked. The response is underdeveloped and does not provide sufficient detail or personal experience to fully meet the requirements. To improve, clearly state the type of music you like, explain why you like it, and include specific examples or personal anecdotes. Also, ensure the response is coherent and complete, avoiding abrupt endings or conversational fillers. The response could be expanded as it currently feels quite brief.

The answer lacks a clear structure and is quite short. There is significant repetition and self-correction ('keep getting, keep getting', 'from, from our, from the', 'since I'm, I was'), which disrupts fluency. The response does not fully address the topic as it only briefly mentions pop music and does not describe the type of music in detail. To improve, organize your ideas with a clear introduction, main points, and conclusion, and avoid unnecessary repetition.

The vocabulary used is basic and limited. Words like 'boring', 'fascinating', and 'beneficial' are used, but there is little range or precision. The phrase 'keep me from getting extract' is unclear and likely a mispronunciation of 'distracted'. To improve, use a wider range of descriptive vocabulary related to music (e.g., 'melodic', 'upbeat', 'lyrical', 'genre') and ensure word choice is accurate.

There are several grammatical errors and incomplete structures. For example, 'I used to think that pop music is kind of boring' should be 'was kind of boring' for consistency. The sentence 'I think from the film I think that many singers' is confusing and lacks clarity. The answer also ends abruptly without a complete thought. To improve, practice using a variety of sentence structures and ensure subject-verb agreement and tense consistency.
