I wouldn’t say that I’m a narcissist as well, because I’m not obsessed with my facial features or my looks, but I do check my outfit and makeup right before I head out somewhere. Back to my teenage era, I used to look in the mirror a lot because I had problems with my self-assessment. I guess this self-hating period is a normal stage of life for everyone. Not only do boys and girls have to adjust to their new bodies, but they also have to deal with all the sudden feelings and emotion that came out of nowhere. Right now, I’m more than satisfied with what I see in the mirror. I guess that’s because through trials and errors, I finally find out what complements my appearance and what suits me the most. Currently, I’m more focused on the whole picture. I evaluate my outfit and my makeup and my blowout generally. Right away, I try to dress up more elegantly in need and feminine, especially on big days. I’m more focused on putting things together rather than just one aspect like hair or makeup, choosing an outfit is my morning routine that helps to maintain and boost my confidence through the day. It also reminds me that underneath this cloth armor, there is a lovely curious girl with an open heart.
