Band 7+: Describe your favourite colour, what is the most popular in your country?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer is well-organized and coherent, directly addressing the prompt's request to describe a favorite color and its popularity. Consider expanding on the popularity aspect by providing more evidence or examples beyond historical and religious significance. You could mention its use in modern contexts or its prevalence in everyday life.

The answer is well-organized and coherent. The speaker's ideas flow smoothly. Minor repetition could be avoided by combining the two reasons more concisely. For example, instead of saying "One reason is...Another reason is...", the speaker could say "Persian blue's popularity stems from both its historical significance and its religious connotations." This would improve fluency.

The vocabulary is sophisticated and precise. Words like "historical significance," "religious culture," and "calmness" are used effectively. The speaker could explore more nuanced vocabulary to describe the feeling evoked by the color, perhaps using words like "serenity" or "tranquility" instead of just "calmness".

The grammar is mostly accurate, with only minor issues. The sentence "We can say another reason because of religious culture" is slightly awkward and grammatically less precise. Replacing it with "Another reason is its connection to religious culture" would improve grammatical accuracy and naturalness. The speaker should also be careful with the use of articles (a/an/the).
