The time of day I look forward to the most is the morning specifically from around 6 to 9 a.m. This is when I like to practice my daily yoga routine and study for exams. During this time I usually find myself alone since my family still sleep except for my mom. I have one belief about mornings from my childhood that if I wake up early the day will be longer than normal and I guess it was probably my mom’s idea that she told me when I was a kid. As a morning person I feel my past induced early hours with my energy levels and focus picking right after I wake up. There is something serene and calming about the morning that helps me ease into the day. I start my day with yoga which not only stretches my muscles but also clears my mind before I dive into academic work. I find that I can hold the pose better and feel both physically and mentally refreshed once my practice is complete. The quiet solitude of the morning is also ideal for reviewing grammar lessons and revising essay structures without any distractions. From experience I knew I am a more productive learner at this hour compared to late in the day when my attention begins to fade. Overall I come to realize that I prefer my highest capacity in the mornings making this time my favorite part of the day.
