It's a thought-provoking subject. I never thought about this matter before. However, I don't believe that shopping is more popular today than in the past. People have always enjoyed shopping, but the way we shop has changed drastically. With the rise of online shopping, it's easier than ever to buy things from the comfort of our homes. But I think people still enjoy the experience of going to stores and browsing through products. So, while the way we shop has changed, I don't think the popularity of shopping itself has decreased.
