I think that depends on the situation. For example, if a child is participating in a competition or a tournament, they should receive gifts from their teachers. Apart from that, if they are in a home environment, of course they should receive gifts from their parents. So in a way, to encourage a good competitive spirit, I think it is necessary for children to earn some prizes from people other than their relatives.
