Band 4+: Do you do more exercise now than when you wear a child?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer partially addresses the question but lacks coherence and clarity. The response starts with a contradictory statement ('yeah, I think no') and then provides a vague comparison between childhood and present exercise habits. The mention of 'exercise for three weeks' is unclear and seems off-topic. The answer also trails off with an unrelated question. To improve, focus on giving a clear, direct answer first, then provide specific examples or reasons to support your point. Avoid introducing irrelevant details and ensure your response is logically structured.

The answer lacks coherence and organization. The response starts with 'You know, yeah, I think no' which is contradictory and confusing. The idea about 'exercise for three weeks' is unclear and not developed. The candidate also abruptly shifts to asking a question ('what type of exercises do you do?') which is inappropriate for Part 1. There is noticeable hesitation and repetition ('Actually, actually...'). To improve, structure the answer with a clear opening, provide a reason, and avoid self-correction or irrelevant questions.

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'exercise a lot' and 'exercise every time' are simple and lack precision. The expression 'for my age, I need to exercise for three weeks' is unclear and likely a misuse of vocabulary. To improve, use a wider range of vocabulary related to exercise (e.g., 'work out', 'physical activity', 'fitness routine') and clarify ideas with more specific terms. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

There are several grammatical errors. 'I don't exercise a lot' should be 'I didn't exercise a lot' (past tense). The phrase 'I need to exercise for three weeks' is grammatically correct but semantically odd; it may be a misstatement. The response also lacks a full range of structures, relying on simple sentences. To improve, practice using past and present tenses accurately and incorporate more complex structures (e.g., conditional or comparative sentences).
