Band 6+: Do you keep any plants or pets at home?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer directly addresses the question, clearly stating a preference for both plants and pets. It provides relevant reasons for each, such as the oxygen production of plants and the protective role of pets, which demonstrates a natural and logical elaboration. The response is coherent and stays on topic throughout. To reach a perfect score, you could add a bit more personal detail or a specific example to make the answer even more vivid and engaging, but the current response is already strong and well-developed.

The answer is coherent and organized, with a clear structure: stating a preference, giving reasons for plants, and then reasons for pets. However, there is some repetition and self-correction (e.g., 'like plant gave us oxygen' and 'whenever we are noted' which is unclear). The flow is slightly disrupted by these errors. To improve, focus on speaking more smoothly and avoiding mid-sentence corrections. Practice linking ideas with a wider range of cohesive devices.

The vocabulary is adequate for the topic, with some good phrases like 'give me a very good vibe' and 'conserve our nature.' However, there is a lack of precision and flexibility. For example, 'plant gave us oxygen' could be more naturally expressed as 'plants provide us with oxygen.' The phrase 'whenever we are noted' is incorrect and unclear. To improve, expand your vocabulary related to plants and pets (e.g., 'companionship,' 'nurturing,' 'security') and use more precise terms. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

The grammar is mostly accurate, with correct use of present simple tense and some complex structures (e.g., 'so that we can conserve our nature'). However, there are noticeable errors: 'like plant gave us oxygen' (subject-verb agreement and tense error), 'whenever we are noted' (incorrect word choice, likely meant 'not there'), and 'to protect our house' is a bit awkward. To improve, practice using a wider range of grammatical structures, such as conditionals and relative clauses, and ensure subject-verb agreement and correct word forms.
