I would say it depends. I enjoy the creative and hilarious aspects of advertisements. For example, in Thailand, there are ads that are really memorable because they tell a story about a disabled daughter and her father. However, I dislike pop-up ads because they are very annoying when I accidentally click on them. They distract me from focusing on other things that I don't really need. Advertising can be powerful because it can manipulate people, but it can also entertain them.
