Band 4+: Do you like to cook at home or eat outside? Why?

Your pronunciation is average. It is understandable but not always accurate. Focusing on the rhythm and stress patterns of English could prove beneficial.

The answer is on topic and directly addresses the question, but it is very brief and lacks elaboration. To improve, provide a reason for your preference and perhaps a brief example or contrast. For instance, you could mention the comfort of home-cooked meals, cost-effectiveness, or the ability to control ingredients. Expanding your response will make it more natural and engaging. The response could be expanded as it currently feels quite brief.

The answer is very short and lacks development. It does not provide a clear reason for the preference beyond a simple statement. There is no use of cohesive features or examples. To improve, expand on the reasons (e.g., health, cost, comfort) and structure the response with a clear opinion and supporting points.

Vocabulary is very limited and repetitive. The phrase 'I like eating home' is awkward and lacks precision. The answer uses basic words like 'like' and 'home' without variety. To improve, use a wider range of vocabulary (e.g., 'prefer', 'home-cooked meals', 'convenience', 'atmosphere') and avoid repetition. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

There are grammatical errors, such as 'I prefer to home' (missing 'eat') and 'my cook' (should be 'my cooking'). The sentence structure is simple and repetitive. To improve, use a variety of sentence structures (e.g., complex sentences with 'because', 'although') and ensure correct prepositions and noun forms.
