Band 5+: Do you like to wear dark or bright colours?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer directly addresses the question and provides a clear preference. To improve the score, focus on the logical consistency of the arguments. The connection between the symbolic meaning of colors (positive vs. negative) and the physical sensation of temperature (feeling hot in dark clothes) is somewhat disjointed. Try to group your ideas more cohesively - either focus on the psychological impact of colors or the practical/functional aspects like weather and comfort. Additionally, refining the vocabulary (e.g., using 'convey' or 'symbolize' instead of 'represent dark things') would enhance the natural flow of the response.

The answer is somewhat coherent but lacks smooth transitions. There is a lot of repetition of the words 'dark' and 'bright'. To improve, use cohesive devices like 'On the other hand' or 'Conversely' when comparing the two. The flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing such as 'In that way', which doesn't quite fit the context.

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. You used 'dark colors' and 'bright colors' multiple times. Instead of saying 'dark meanings' or 'good definition', try using more precise adjectives like 'gloomy', 'somber', 'vibrant', 'cheerful', or 'radiant'. Also, 'I really take a hot' is an incorrect collocation; you should use 'I feel overheated' or 'it makes me feel too hot'.

There are several grammatical errors that affect clarity. 'Dark colors meaning...' is a fragment, not a complete sentence; it should be 'Dark colors mean...' or 'Dark colors represent...'. There is also an issue with tense consistency: you switched from 'when I wear' (present) to 'it was' (past). Stick to the present tense when discussing general preferences. Additionally, 'a bright clothes' is incorrect because 'clothes' is a plural noun and should not take the article 'a'.
