To be honest, I wouldn't say that I truly like my name. I don't hate it, but I've never felt a deep emotional connection to it. It sounds quite ordinary to me, and I often feel that it doesn't fully reflect my personality or the way I see myself. Sometimes I imagine having a different name, something that feels softer, more unique, or closer to my inner world. I think names can influence how people perceive you or see your inner world. I'd like mine to express my identity more clearly. However, even so, I've thought about changing it. I'm not sure if I will actually do it in the future. One of the main reasons is the fear of judgment. I'm worried that people around me, especially relatives or people from my cultural background, might see it as strange, unnecessary, or even disrespectful to my mom and dad. I don't want to constantly explain or justify my choice. So, I think for now I have decided to keep my name, even if it doesn't feel perfect. Maybe in the future, when I feel more confident, I will reconsider it. But at the moment, I prefer inner comfort over social conflict. Also, changing names is such a big problem for now. It involves changing documents, ID cards, and school journals or diaries, for example. So I should maybe keep my name for myself.
