Band 6+: Do you live in a house or flat? Or What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

This is an excellent response. You have provided a clear and detailed answer to the question, going beyond a simple 'yes' or 'no' response. The description of your accommodation is natural and easy to understand.

The answer is understandable, but the phrasing is slightly unnatural. The description of the flat is a bit muddled. Saying 'first ground' is incorrect; it should be 'ground floor' or 'first floor'. The repetition of 'and' needs improvement. More cohesive devices could be used to link the sentences. Practice speaking more smoothly and naturally.

Vocabulary is adequate but not sophisticated. The candidate uses simple words to describe the accommodation. Using more precise vocabulary, such as 'apartment' instead of 'flat', would improve the score. Expanding on the features of the accommodation would also demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary.

There are several grammatical errors. 'I am living flat' is incorrect; it should be 'I live in a flat' or 'I am living in a flat'. The sentence 'There are 5 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms' is illogical and should be corrected to clarify the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The candidate needs to improve their use of articles and prepositions. Practice using a wider range of grammatical structures.
