Well, I can say that it depends on the weather, it depends on the season, and it depends on the age of a person. In my opinion, older people should live in a modern house because modern houses have a lot of facilities that make living in them easy, while older buildings don't have many facilities, making it hard to live there in cold seasons. For example, it is difficult to live in an old building during winter.
