Band 5+: Do you prefer sad or happy music

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer addresses the question by mentioning a preference for not listening to happy music before bed, but it does not directly state a preference between sad or happy music overall. The response could be more focused and elaborated to fully meet the task requirements. Consider clearly stating your preference and providing specific reasons or examples to develop your answer.

The answer is somewhat coherent but lacks a clear structure. The response starts with 'I like the voice,' which is vague and does not directly address the question about preferring sad or happy music. There is some repetition and hesitation in the raw answer (e.g., 'I listen to randomly' is awkward). To improve, directly answer the question first (e.g., 'I prefer happy music because...') and then provide a clear reason or example. Use cohesive devices like 'for example' or 'however' to link ideas.

The vocabulary is limited and imprecise. 'I like the voice' is unclear - does it mean the singer's voice or the music's tone? 'Randomly' is used incorrectly (should be 'randomly' as an adverb, but the refined version corrects it to 'listen randomly,' which is still awkward). 'Noisy' is a simple word; consider using 'energetic' or 'lively' to describe happy music. To improve, expand vocabulary with words like 'melancholic,' 'upbeat,' 'soothing,' or 'calming' to better express preferences.

The grammar is mostly correct but simple. The raw answer has a minor error: 'I listen to randomly' should be 'I listen randomly' (removing the preposition 'to' before an adverb). The refined version corrects this. The sentence 'it could be noisy' is acceptable but could be more precise (e.g., 'it might be too loud'). To improve, use a wider range of structures, such as conditional sentences ('If I listen to happy music before bed, I can't sleep') or comparative forms ('I prefer sad music because it is more relaxing than happy music').
