Normally I prefer texting rather than calling or meeting in person. This is because what I find in texting is it lets me think clearly what I want to say to them. It lets me have time to express my feelings well. Also it distances me from that person. I want to give them bad news. So it's really hard for me to do it in a call or meeting. The distance it gives me also makes me comfortable. Also I'm a bit introverted, so it also helps me.
