Between the two options, I'm not able to drive right now because I don't have a license and I am a minor. But still, I probably wouldn't drive a car if I had the opportunity to do so. Using public transport is way healthier. I can walk, and it can take me to places much more efficiently than driving because buses have the bus lane and can go faster than normal cars. Having to take care of a car and worrying about it, as well as finding a parking space, isn't going to happen a lot of the time. So just dropping near a bus station to your school or work is the best way to go, in my opinion.
