Look, it depends on the situation. If I'm going with my friends, I prefer to watch a movie in the cinema, and we choose the best movie together. But if I want to watch a movie alone, I'm not going to watch it in the cinema because it's not fun to watch it alone. In my room, it would be more convenient for me, and I can watch it with my family or alone. It doesn't matter. I can choose the best movie that catches my attention, and so on.
