Personally, I would say yes. I believe job satisfaction comes first because it's what you really like about it. It's what you enjoy doing. I know that salary is quite important; it's one of the big factors in job choices. For example, if you are a really good assistant, you like working with diseases or you like pharmacology, but using finance would offer you higher salaries compared to laboratory research, you should just choose finance. I know that it might have a higher salary, but it's not what you really like. It's just what you have been learning about. And what's the matter of having a high salary if you're not really into the job? In the end, it might result in quitting the job, and you would return to something you really like because it's not your choice.
