Parents are undoubtedly the primary decision-makers in their children's lives, including their education. However, the choice of schools or subjects for children should depend on their individual needs and circumstances. While I agree that children often lack the experience to make sound decisions, and their choices might sometimes be harmful, I believe that parents should collaborate with their children in making educational decisions. This collaboration should take into account the child's interests and aspirations, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected. Ultimately, a balance between parental guidance and the child's own agency is crucial for a successful educational journey.

When parents are undoubtedly the primary decision makers in their children’s life, including their education, the choice of schools or subjects for children should really depend on their individual needs and circumstance. In my opinion. I partially agree with this view and there are several reasons. Children often cannot make decision due to their lack of experience, and they may sometimes make choice that harm them. In that sense, it is better for parents to guide and support their children’s education, but ultimately the decision should be made on collaboration with the child, taking into account their interest and aspiration.
