Well, in my opinion, teaching children to interact with animals is not outside the scope of the curriculum because school itself requires an understanding of animal ethics. This is not a skill that all teachers possess, and handling unknown animals can pose risks. Despite learning about animals' needs and proper care, both children and teachers are at risk in some ways.
