No, I don't think staying in a luxury hotel is a complete waste because luxury hotels are equipped with many more facilities and services. If we're looking for a premium kind of stay, we usually prefer luxury hotels because they can provide us with much more facilities and services, making our stay much more comfortable than in a regular or ordinary hotel. So I don't think staying in a luxury hotel is always a waste. Some people really want to experience what it's like to stay in a luxury hotel. In such cases, it would be really helpful or they would be keen to stay in a luxury hotel.
