Not really because I think today's youth have a lot more opportunities to improve themselves in different technical skills. Whereas if you look at the previous generations, they didn't have resources or tools to help them polish their skills, their technical skills to be specific. That's why they had to become successful academically in order to secure a well-paying job and for a stable livelihood. However, in case of today's youth, even if they do not succeed academically, they have other options. They are constantly developing their technical skills in order to fit in with today's competitive market.
