While I believe that every parent cares about their children and tries to give them as much profitable advice as they can, it may also cause detrimental effects. For example, when parents lead them to a specific profession that they don't want, it can be a total disaster for children's future prospects. People cannot work in a profession they don't like, and it reduces the effectiveness of the work they do. In this regard, I think children should make decisions for themselves, but in other matters, they can take advice from their parents.

Like when parents lead them to one specific profession that they don’t want to, it will be total disaster for children’s future prospects. Because you know, the people cannot work in the profession they don’t like and it reduces the effectiveness of the work that they do. So in this term, I guess children have better make the decisions for themselves, but in other things they can take advice from their parents.
