I think young people should learn how to cook primarily at home. Schools often lack the facilities and resources to provide comprehensive cooking instruction. However, it would be beneficial to have a dedicated period or class for cooking, perhaps as part of a home economics curriculum. In my experience, we had a subject called 'Home Management' where we learned basic cooking skills, like preparing simple recipes. But ultimately, I believe learning to cook at home is the most effective way to develop culinary skills.
