I'd like to talk about mooncakes, a Chinese and other food in Vietnam. People usually eat them during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which happens in September or October every year. In this festival, people eat mooncakes at home with their families. They also give mooncakes as gifts to relatives, friends, and neighbors to show their respect and caring. Mooncakes are usually round or square inside. They have different fillings like sweet green beans, best lotus seeds, or salted egg pork egg yolk. People often cut the cake into small pieces and enjoy it with hot tea, which tastes very nice. I think mooncakes are very important for this occasion because they mean family reunion. The original shape of the cake is really a symbol of togetherness. Eating cakes with family is great. It is a nice tradition.
