I would like to talk about Pokhara. I chose this place because it has the most beautiful scenery and breathtaking views of Annapurna. The Himalayas can also be seen from the base of Pokhara. It is one of the quietest places in Nepal. Many people visit from all over the world; around 3-4 million people visit Pokhara every year. Due to the tourism industry, the country also gains some economic benefits from Pokhara. It is a tourist area where most people spend their time and money on local resources and local transport, which contributes to the national economy. I went there about 2 years ago during my field visit with my teacher and friends. As I am an environmental science student, I had to do some fieldwork regarding the quality of water and the places in Nepal where most tourists visit, how tourists attract the city, and how foreign visitors affect our country both negatively and positively. I want everyone to visit this place at least once because you won't regret it. The breathtaking views of the Himalayas, the Annapurna Range, and the reflection of the mountains on the lakes create unforgettable moments. Thank you.
