Oh my god, there are lots of different websites and TV programs that say different things, so people sometimes are not sure which version is the most true or tells the truth. Sometimes they present different information than others because of the influence of the television program or websites, and sometimes people don't even know which is the best one. That's why I would say that it depends on the context. Sometimes people say different things, and they don't even realize that they are not speaking the truth.
