I reckon that there is a huge gap between the young generation and the old generation regarding expensive items. For example, when it comes to smartphones, young people desire to possess iPhones compared to older people. The young ones want to belong to a certain social class. In contrast, elderly people buy gadgets for specific goals, such as staying up to date, calling their relatives, and making appointments with doctors. If we talk about the young generation, they want to have trendy gadgets and be cool. I suppose there is a significant gap between them.

I reckon that there is a huge gap between the young generation and the old generation who wants to buy expensive items. For example, you will consider smartphones, young people desire to possess iPhones compared to young old people. The young ones want to belong to a certain social class. In contrast, elderly people buy gadgets for their certain goals such as to be up to date, call their relatives and maybe make appointments with doctors. If we talk about the young generation, they want to have classic gadgets and be cool. I suppose there is a big gap between them.
