I will answer this question according to my personal experience. In the past, we used to receive our salaries in cash, and having money in our hands made us more aware of the money that we have and the money that we spend. So I remember I used to save two thousand a month because when I used to withdraw money and spend, I was aware that the sum was decreasing. So I became more careful. However, these days, things regarding salary and payment have developed. Now, we receive our salaries through the banks, and we also pay using digital apps. This has made us less aware of the money that we spend and the money that we receive. Accordingly, we spend without being careful. As a result, I save at most 500 shekels a month.
