Band 5+: How does social media influence people's opinion?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer stays on topic and addresses the question directly, but it could be more fully developed. It provides some relevant points, such as the influence of social media on young people and the role of trusted figures, but the response is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. To improve, aim to structure your answer with clear, distinct points and elaborate on each with specific examples or explanations. Also, ensure you answer in a general manner, avoiding personal anecdotes, and try to cover multiple angles of the question, such as the mechanisms of influence (e.g., algorithms, echo chambers) and the potential consequences for society.

The answer is somewhat coherent, with a clear introduction and some examples, but it lacks a clear structure and cohesive devices. The response ends abruptly, and the ideas are not fully developed. To improve, use discourse markers (e.g., 'firstly', 'moreover', 'in conclusion') and ensure the answer is complete. Also, avoid repetition and self-correction.

The vocabulary is adequate but not precise or flexible. Phrases like 'change their opinions' and 'spread of their opinion' are repetitive and could be more varied. The word 'auditory' is misused (should be 'audience'). To improve, use a wider range of vocabulary, including synonyms and more precise terms (e.g., 'influence', 'shape', 'persuade', 'audience', 'followers').

The grammar is mostly accurate but limited in range. There are some errors, such as 'people can change their opinions by some TV programs' (should be 'by watching TV programs') and 'retired people are trusting to some news' (should be 'trust some news'). The sentence 'that have some spread of their opinion' is unclear. To improve, use a wider range of structures, including complex sentences, and ensure accuracy in prepositions and verb forms.
