The size of a family has changed over the past few decades in my country. When my dad was an adolescent, he had around seven siblings. This was due to the fact that my grandma and grandpa had to have many children because, back then, it wasn't certain whether each one would survive to the future. So, by chance, the more children you have, the more successful the offspring could be for the family. But currently, as time has changed, having fewer children reduces the economic burden on a family. This is why, while my dad had seven siblings, I only have three siblings in my family.

The size of a family has changed over the few decades in my country. Even I was, when my dad was an adolescent, he had around seven siblings. And this was due to the fact that my grandma and grandpa had to churn out a lot of children together due to the fact that back then it wasn’t sure whether each one can even have access to the future or not. So by chance, the more children you have, they will assume that the more successful that the offspring can bring to the family. But currently, as time has changed, having less children brings less burden to the economic status of a family. So this is why, currently, when my dad had seven, I only have three siblings in my family.
