Since the rise of remote work culture, people have started to stay home most of the time and just deal with their own work in their personal environment, preferring not to go out very much. They have become addicted to staying home in their comfort zone and prefer doing meetings via Zoom and Google Meet. So even if they need to discuss something with their colleagues, they just do the meetings via online platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet and avoid going out to meet them in person. They now do not like to socialize very much. They prefer staying home and just avoid any socializing or gatherings. This is how their sense of community has been affected very much because they have not been socializing as much as they used to. And this has been affecting their health as well in terms of feeling more lonely and in solitude.
