Band 5+: How well do you know the capital city of your country?

Your pronunciation is average. It is understandable but not always accurate. Focusing on the rhythm and stress patterns of English could prove beneficial.

The answer stays on topic and provides relevant information about the capital city, including its name and some notable landmarks. However, it does not directly address the question 'How well do you know...' as it focuses more on describing the city rather than expressing personal familiarity or knowledge. To improve, you could explicitly state your level of familiarity (e.g., 'I know it quite well because...') and then elaborate with specific personal experiences or detailed knowledge. Additionally, note that the Taj Mahal is in Agra, not Delhi, which is a factual inaccuracy. Ensure accuracy when mentioning landmarks.

The answer is somewhat coherent but lacks a clear structure. It jumps from describing Delhi to focusing on the Taj Mahal without a smooth transition. There is no clear organization of ideas, and the response ends abruptly. To improve, organize the answer with a clear introduction, main points, and a conclusion. Use cohesive devices like 'for example', 'in addition', or 'moreover' to link ideas.

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'a lot of' and 'as well as' are overused. There are some inaccuracies, such as 'evergreen city' (which is not a common collocation) and 'Desh Azan' (incorrect name). To improve, use more precise and varied vocabulary, such as 'historical landmarks', 'architectural marvels', and 'commemorate'. Also, ensure correct names and terms are used.

The grammar is mostly accurate but simple. There are a few errors, such as 'for the memory of' (should be 'in memory of') and 'the 6th or 7th' (incomplete). The sentence structures are basic and lack variety. To improve, use a mix of simple, compound, and complex sentences. For example, 'The Taj Mahal, which is a symbol of love, was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz.'
