So one of my favorite movies that I've ever watched is a Bollywood movie, Jab We Met. It's basically a light romantic movie, and I watched it on this random day when I was feeling pretty low. I decided to watch that movie because, again, the light romantic genre usually helps to cheer me up. In that movie, it revolves around two main leads, the female and male lead. The female lead, Geet, is a very cheerful person who's always optimistic and has a really positive outlook on life. She doesn't care what others think of her; she does what she thinks will make her happy and what she believes is fulfilling for her. On the other side, we see the male lead, Aditya, who has experienced some really traumatic events in his life that made him quite depressed. On that specific day in the movie, he decided to end his life. To do that, he went on this train journey, and I think he decided to jump off the train to end it. But he met Geet, and she didn't let him; she kept on encouraging him. From that moment onwards, throughout the first half of the film, you can see how she becomes a source of happiness and sunshine for him. She motivates him and shows him that life is worth living, that it's beautiful, and that you shouldn't give up. But in the middle, she leaves for someone else because she wants to marry him, and Aditya then goes home. Later, it is shown that that other guy rejected her, and that was her breaking point in life. She became pretty depressed and started living a really lonely and depressing life. Eventually, Aditya finds her again in that hotel or wherever she is living at the time, and he is now the one who shows her how to live again and tries to help her become that cheerful and optimistic person she once was. And then the story goes on.
