I would say that education systems can help prepare students for the 21st century by introducing them to the technology that is developing. For example, introductory classes on computers. Nowadays, I would also include how to properly use artificial intelligence. Children should have classes to help them adapt to the technological changes they may face because technology is advancing rapidly and continues to do so over time. It is a well-known fact that before the 1900s, technology didn't advance as quickly as it did from the 1900s onwards, post the Industrial Revolution, and then the technological revolution in the 1980s with computers, now the internet, and now artificial intelligence.
