There are several methods that governments can use to encourage their citizens to live a more sustainable life without disrupting their personal freedoms. The first is to persuade them to create their own businesses in local areas. By doing this, they open more job opportunities for unemployed people. They are living a more sustainable life because if one person is unemployed, especially if this person is the head of a family, then this person is more encouraged to live a sustainable life, especially if they have the opportunity to work under someone who is reliable. If this person is being helped and assisted at the same time by the government, it can make a difference. Secondly, they can also try to listen to the problems of society by allowing citizens to express their concerns through social media while keeping their privacy a priority. This way, they can write down their complaints about what the government is lacking and what can be done to improve their lives. This enhances the overall bond between the government and society.
