I think that social media has a huge impact on the ability of people to empathize with others because people usually spend a lot of time on social media doing nothing. They usually scroll through social media reels and some other entertainment without any prior important purpose. So nowadays, people are not quite socially interactive in terms of physical interaction. So if they won't be able to have a physical interaction with anybody else, I think they wouldn't be able to understand the other person's feelings and emotions. If you really want to understand others, you have to speak with that person specifically, you know, face to face. So I think physical and social interaction would be really necessary in that case to understand the feelings and the emotions of other individuals.
