From different surveys around the world, it can be noticed that the bigger the city, the lower the happiness index and it’s not just a coincidence because happiness or like satisfaction and overall well-being of citizens both mental and physical does correlate with the architecture of a city. Sky Scrapers and tall buildings in general or crowded buildings without any space for recreational parks or museums can lead to people being depressed and with the lack of sunshine in this crowded place also play a vital role in developing mental illnesses as well. psychological effect runs deep and you can see that the structures or the architecture in Greece or in Paris, they are not building huge skyscrapers and that can be directly seen in the mood and the well-being mental health of the citizens of those countries. So I will firmly agree that psychological aspects does correlate with architecture of city.
